Meet The Alumni
Mutsyaba Victor My first time to know about Higher Education Consult was in 2020 around December.
I was browsing on Facebook to find out more about Mature Age Entry Scheme at Makerere University.
I consulted them and they offered me materials which helped me to pass Mature Age Entry Exams.
Not just that, I was the 2nd best candidate in paper one (aptitude).
I’m currently doing BSc. Electrical Engineering in year two on Government sponsorship.
I’m truly grateful.
Mulindwa Dennis I’m Mulindwa Dennis, I hold a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health as well as a certificate in Enrolled Nursing. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiography (BSMR) at Makerere University on government sponsorship. My sincere appreciation to the God-sent team at HEC for the selfless efforts to see my dream come true! My love for Medical Imaging was birthed in the year 2017 when I was employed in a medical centre, where I learnt the skill to interprete an ultrasound scan. Realising the beauty in this very important medical speciality, I made up my mind to seek formal training in Radiography. However it took me over 5 years because I couldn’t afford the cost of training in private institutions where I had applied. As I was contemplating on how source the tuition, I learnt about Makerere University offered the same programme through Mature Age entry exams. Long story short, through a friend I was able to meet the amazing team at HEC. They demystified so many lies, mentored me in a very interactive manner.
Nayiga Specioza My name is Nayiga Specioza, currently a 2nd year student of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Uganda Christian University (UCU). I learnt about HEC through a friend who knew of my aspiration to become a Medical Doctor. Being a holder of a Certificate In Enrolled Nursing, my dream seemed far from reality! Little did I know HEC would suture the knowledge gap that was apparent in me. 7 months later, I had gathered the knowledge, the confidence to Excel in the Mature Age Entry Examinations of Makerere University held in October, 2021. Having obtained an equivalent qualification, I sought admission at UCU where I was subsequently admitted. I’m so grateful to the HEC team for changing my life.
